Northeast Houston Community Center (formerly Farrington Mission) is our physical needs mission in Houston's Fifth Ward. Volunteers share the Gospel with people from the community while providing basic food and clothing needs. We also do large group evangelism events like a Spanish themed Fiesta Familiar and our annual Feed the Fifth Thanksgiving dinner.
God has used NEHCC to feed thousands and save hundreds of people.
Through mission-minded serving, volunteers experience the movement of God as they see and hear of clients accepting Jesus as Lord!
- We celebrated 120 salvations through one-on-one Gospel sharing
- In response to the coronavirus pandemic, NEHCC operated as a disaster distribution point, giving food and Gospel tracts to 12,186 families
- NEHCC served the physical needs of 15,141 families
- NEHCC reached its 10 year anniversary and revealed its new name
This was made possible by the hundreds of faithful church members who volunteered their time and service.
