Coleman Philley Senior Pastor

Pastor Coleman is passionate about preaching verse-by-verse sermons that show God’s Word to be relevant for all of life. His desire for Northeast is that God will showcase His presence and glory, through transformed lives, in undeniable and ever-increasing ways. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before entering full-time ministry, he worked as an engineer for a private consulting firm in Houston. Coleman and his wife Jennifer were high school sweethearts. They married in 2007 and have four children (Josiah, Levi, Hannah & Judah). He enjoys anything sports-related and time in the woods or on the water.

Darrell Cheney Executive Pastor

Darrell is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the church, including managing the leadership team, the church budget, and churchwide programming. Additionally, he leads the Music Ministry, Missions, and Membership. Darrell has been attending Northeast since 2014 and was ordained as one of our pastors in 2022. He is currently enrolled at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing a Masters of Divinity (MDiv). Darrell became a Christian and was baptized at the Hamptons Christian & Missionary Alliance church in Water Mill, NY. He has a degree in Network Administration and was the IT Director for a nearby school district before joining the staff. Darrell was born in 1981. Darrell and Jennifer were married in 2019 at Northeast.

Jamey Moore Associate Pastor of Adults

Jamey is responsible for assisting with the shepherding of the entire congregation with a primary responsibility for adult ministries. He has been shepherding Northeast since 2018. Jamey became a Christian and was baptized while attending Second Baptist Church in Fredericktown, MO. Jamey served thirteen years in the United States Air Force as both an Enlisted Airmen and an Officer. Jamey was ordained by South Side Baptist Church in Abilene, TX, where he served for ten years. He graduated from National-Louis University and from graduate school at Dallas Theological Seminary (MACE). Jamey was born in 1974. Jamey and Tammie have been married since 1995 and have four children.

Justin Graham Next Gen Pastor (11th-12th Graders, 18-23s)

Justin is responsible for assisting with the shepherding of the entire congregation with a primary responsibility for NextGen ministries. He has been shepherding Northeast since 2022. Justin became a Christian and was baptized while attending Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville, TX. Justin was ordained by Central Baptist Church in College Station, TX, where he served for four years as the male College Ministry Associate. Justin graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and earned his Masters of Divinity (MDiv) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Joshua Crutchfield Sr. Pastor, New Caney, TX Church Plant: Emmanuel Baptist Church

Joshua is the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in New Caney, Texas. Joshua is a two time graduate of Criswell College, former student at Dallas Theological Seminary, and is currently in his dissertation phase at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Jamie, and they have four kids—Josalyn, Jayden, Joelle, and Jaycee.

Del Traffanstedt Sr. Pastor, Houston, TX Church Plant: Cross Community Church

Del is the Senior Pastor of Cross Community Church. Del led a team of NEHBC members to plant Cross Community Church in the Northeast Houston Community Center in Houston’s Eastex-Jensen area in September of 2021.

Bryce Ulrich Sr. Pastor, Denver, CO Church Plant: Cross Family Church

Bryce joined Cross Family Church as Associate Pastor on October 4, 2020 and was called to be Senior Pastor on November 20, 2022. Prior to working at CFC, he served as Executive Pastor at Mississippi Avenue Baptist Church in Aurora, CO and as Senior Pastor of First Southern Baptist Church in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Kim Frasier Director of Childhood Ministries

Kim is responsible for assisting with vision implementation church-wide, with a primary responsibility for babies to sixth grade. She has been a member of Northeast since 2005 and has served in a variety of leadership roles in both the children’s and music ministries. Kim served as Director of the Early Childhood Center at Northeast from 2011 - 2018 and then joined the general staff of Northeast as the Children’s Associate from 2018 - 2023. Kim became a Christian and was baptized at the First Church of the Nazarene, Pasadena, Texas. She graduated from the University of Houston- Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. Kim worked in the public school system until she and her husband John started their family. Kim and John have been married for 33 years and have three daughters.

Matheu Scott Director of Student Ministry (Grades 7-10)

Matheu is responsible for assisting with vision implementation churchwide, with a primary responsibility for 7-10th grade students. Matheu became a Christian and was baptized at Orange County First Assembly (formerly known as Orange County Worship Center). Matheu has been in ministry voluntarily for 8 years with different ministries and full-time at Northeast since April of 2022. Matheu was born in 1996. Matheu and Abbey met on a mission trip in 2017 and married in 2020. Matheu enjoys bass fishing and golfing.
